Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Fluxia IPTV (the "App", for Samsung Smart TVs and Android TV) and its online service at iptv.moon-runners.net (the "Service") handle, why, and for how long. The App is a media player: it does not provide any channels or content. You add your own playlists from your own provider.

1. Information stored only on your TV

The following stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you use profile sync (section 2):

• Playlists you add (server address, username and password, or M3U URL).
• Profiles, favourites, viewing history and resume positions, parental control settings and PIN.
• App settings and optional API keys you enter for third-party services (TMDB, fanart.tv, OpenSubtitles, SubDL).

Uninstalling the App deletes this information from the TV.

2. Information processed by the Service

• Device registration (needed for the free trial and the licence): a random access token (we keep only a hash of it), a hash of the device identifier provided by the TV platform (the original identifier is never stored), platform, TV model, App version, a device code, the date of first use and the date of last connection, and licence status.
• Profile sync between your own devices (used when you link several devices to one account): your profiles, including the playlists and the information listed in section 1, so that they appear on your other devices.
• Sending a playlist from your phone (QR code): what you type on the web page is kept for at most 15 minutes and is deleted as soon as the TV receives it.
• Shared age ratings: titles, years and their age ratings for your country, linked to your account, so that other TVs do not have to look them up again. They do not include what you watch or when.
• Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and the paid period. We never receive or store card details.
• Server logs: IP address, date and time, requested path and response code, used to keep the Service secure and working. Logs do not contain passwords, tokens or playlists.

3. Why we use it

• To provide the App's features you ask for (trial, licence, pairing, sync of your profiles).
• To process and verify payments.
• To protect the Service against abuse and to fix errors.

We do not show advertising, we do not use analytics or tracking tools, we do not build user profiles, and we do not sell or rent your information.

4. Third-party services the App connects to

Depending on the features you use, the App connects directly from your TV to the following services. They receive your IP address and the request itself, and their own privacy policies apply:

• Your IPTV provider (the playlists you add).
• TMDB (themoviedb.org) and fanart.tv: titles, posters, details and age ratings.
• OpenSubtitles and SubDL: subtitles.
• Open-Meteo and the IP geolocation services geojs.io, freeipapi.com and ipwho.is: approximate city from your IP address, only to show the local weather (you can choose the city yourself instead).
• Google Translate (translate.googleapis.com): translation of descriptions that are not available in your language.
• YouTube: trailers, only when you choose to play one.
• open-epg.com and epgshare01.online: TV programme guides.
• Stripe: payment page, only when you choose to pay.

The Service itself shares your information only with the providers that run it for us (server hosting and Stripe for payments), or when required by law.

5. How long we keep it

• Device registration and licence: while you use the App. Synced profiles are deleted when they are removed in the App or when the account no longer has any device.
• QR pairing data: up to 15 minutes, and deleted as soon as the TV receives it.
• Payment records: as long as required by tax and accounting law.
• Server logs: for a short period, only as needed for security.

You can ask us at any time to delete all the information linked to your device code.

6. Security

All communication with the Service uses HTTPS. Access tokens and device identifiers are stored only as hashes, the database is not reachable from the internet, and access to the server is restricted.

7. International transfers

The Service is hosted on servers in the European Union. If you use the App from another country (for example, the Republic of Korea), your information is transferred to and processed in the European Union, and by the third-party services listed above in their own countries.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, to stop processing it, or to receive a copy of it. Write to us with your device code (shown in the App under Account). You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. The App has profiles with parental controls so that adults can limit what children can watch.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
